Now other early spring bloomers appear. It’s too soon to see my Virginia bluebells or trillium, but here are the hellebores, and tiny irises have popped up. Along with these are daffodils, and the delicate strands of bells on the pieris are fully open. Buds are expanding on the viburnum trees that flank the front entrance. You don’t need the meteorologist to tell you it’s spring this week. If you haven’t figured out yet what you’re planting or where, better get moving! BTW – you have pruned your roses, right?
